Capturing the Franchure of Captain America

Many people go crazy over the Captain America and the Winter Soldier film. This movie is fun, and it did a lot to increase the popularity of the Captain America franchise. However, there are a lot of people who are under the misconception that the Captain America costume is based on the actual costume worn by Peter Parker in the movie.. The truth is that the costume, while being similar, is not one that was designed or made for Parker. The costume that you see in the comics and in the movies is created and worn by Anthony Mackie, who is the stuntman who played the Caped Crusader in the films.

The Captain America that we see in the movies belongs to someone else entirely. In the comics, he’s called the Red Skull, and his costume is very different from the one that wearers usually wear. In the movies, Cap is always shown wearing a blue and red outfit that consists of a white t-shirt and black pants. His weapons of choice are an iron gun and a classic metal stick. So if you were thinking about getting into a costume contest at your local Halloween party this year, don’t worry about the Captain America, just get the Red Skull instead.
