The battle between Captain America and Spider-Man is a great one, and this year’s comic book adaptation is no exception. This fight occurs in Amazing Spider-Man #534, during the Civil War storyline. Peter has developed Spider-Sense, which allows him to dodge the shield and still win the fight. However, not even that will be enough to defeat Cap in this battle. Fortunately, the movie will be a fun and interesting read regardless of the outcome.
Captain America has been given a period of peace to focus on his duties and the war is on. The heroes are battling alien dragon-like creatures that are absorbed material and energy from the Earth. Spiderman talks about his fear of giant opponents, which makes him seem useless. However, Cap interrupts this rambling and tells Spidey to focus on the job at hand. This gives him time to delegate his responsibilities to Iron Man and Thor.
The conflict between the two superheroes is very entertaining. It was a great fight. Both Captain America and Spider-Man had some great moments, but the movie ended with the former victorious. In a scene where Cap is killed, Spidey gets to tell Cap that he doesn’t have a heart and should shut up. The rematch between the two heroes is one of the most anticipated cinematic battles.
