Captain America: The First Avenger Cast Review

The film is about Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) a frail asthmatic who is rejected from the Army because of his weak build. He is not your typical superhero but a man with a heart who doesn’t give up on his goals. His dream is to fight the Nazis during World War II and he gets the chance to thanks to Dr. Erskine (Stanley Tucci) who develops a serum that transforms Rogers from a frail 90-pound weakling into brawny Captain America.

The movie is a true action flick with plenty of dazzling action sequences. The action scenes are not only exciting but they also feature some good special effects. The film also contains a few scenes of humour that keep the audience entertained. It is a great film to watch for all ages.

The cast in the film is pretty solid with everyone doing a good job. Evans is really good as Captain America and he manages to make the character his own. He has a nice mixture of qualities that makes him the perfect Captain America. Sebastian Stan is excellent as his childhood friend and comrade Bucky Barnes and he and Evans have some good screen chemistry. Hugo Weaving is a villain to be reckoned with as Johann Schmidt, the Red Skull and he is frightening in this movie. Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter is a very gutsy and feisty British agent and she does an excellent job in her role. Tommy Lee Jones is also very good as a tough US colonel and he delivers his lines with gusto.
